'2nd International Pumping Stations on the Air'
2008
Incorporation with the
Claymills Pumping Engines Trust.

Information.

You or your club, along with your local pumping station are invited to take part in the 2nd 'International  Pumping Stations on the Air' weekend.

This will take place on the Bank Holiday weekend in August 2008 - Sunday 24th & Monday 25th - 10am - 5pm (Please note you can run you International Pumping Stations on the Air event on any day or date you wish just please let us know your plans)

The intention of the event is to set up amateur radio special event stations at as many of the pumping stations as possible throughout the whole of the world. HF, VHF, the scope of your station is entirely up to you. The choice of pumping station is also left very much up to you.

To Register we need the following information.

Your email address.
Your special event callsign.
Your callsign.
Your name.
Your email address.
Your clubs name, or your callsign if a lone operator.
Your clubs (or your) website URL.
The name of the pumping station from which you intend to operate.
The website of the pumping station (if it has one).
Name of the nearest town.
Latitude (if known).
Longitude (if known).
Intended operating modes.     HF[  ], VHF[  ], CW[  ], PSK[  ], SSTV[  ], FSTV[  ]
The date you have planned if its not on the main date.

Special Event Callsign for those in the UK:-
You may wish to apply for special event GB-prefix callsigns, for your pumping station. This is now done via OFCOM and a link is provided below to download and print out a PDF form for your application.
