VHF/UHF National Field Day
7th - 8th July 2007
G3NFC/P

What a great weekend, John (M0JDK) made a great job of bringing along a wonderful weekend of the sunny weather, and boy oh boy did it get hot at times in the shack.

G3NFC/P was operating with two Kenwood TS-2000's over the weekend on VHF and UHF and one IC7000 on 6m on Saturday. Steve, (2E0KPO) took the opportunity to test his latest antenna a 2M12 which performed very well.

The weather was a scorcher and not a drop of rain fell, amazing considering almost every day leading up to the event the weather had been trying to impersonate a monsoon.

We placed ourselves about 320ft above sea level in quite a nice spot overlooking Burton upon Trent and the surrounding area.

Our thanks go to... Dave, G0AOD - John, M0JDK - Roger, M1CBO - Mick, G4HBY - Peter, M3GPM - Steve, 2E0KPO and Gerald, M5ACI. The site owner for allowing us to use the site and of course the fly's for driving us mad at times.
